Hey Croydon! Welcome back to Croydon Buzz, your one-stop shop for everything going on in the borough that we think you can’t miss.
BOXPARK hits a major milestone this week, celebrating 10 years since it opened on 31 Oct 2016. With Halloween landing on Saturday, there’s plenty going on to keep the whole family busy!
Stanley Arts has a Halloween family disco, but my top pick is Trickle’s Trickle-Treat, a fab spot to kick the weekend off. Dust off your costume, because the best dressed wins £100!

Things we love

The coffee lounge we can’t stop visiting
The Village Table is a coffee lounge, co-working space and community hub, all in one. Founder Kat noticed how isolated people became during COVID, so she opened it as her love letter to Croydon: a place to bring people back together. The coffee’s great and it’s the perfect spot to get some quiet work done. They are hosting ‘with love from south’ tonight in celebration of Black History month. Deffo one not to miss!
That’s all from me this week. Happy Halloween and don’t forget your costumes, it's gonna be a spook-tacular one!
One question for you: What’s your halloween costume this year? Hit reply and tell me. I read every one.
Keep it local,
Nathan x
